I rarely do art memes, since I have to draw out each part by hand, scan it in, and then color it with a mouse. However, I was bound and determined to do the Mega Man OC Meme that was going around DevArt. So I started sketching in January. March rolls around, and I've only got about 3 of the 12 frames done. Ah well. I figure one a month, and I'll have it done by next year! Fortunately, it gave me the chance to update Maeko's look.
Every year, around March, I re-design the website, as well as the website's mascot, Maeko. However, in 2009, I came up with a website that was near perfect for what I wanted, and Maeko's design made me very happy. As such, when March 2010 rolled around, I decided only to make very minor changes to both. As such, Maeko put on armor that was very much like her previous version. The only major change I made to her (in my eyes) was the removal of the green triangle gem from her forehead. It'd always looked redundent, but then again, it was a part of her traditional design.
