I wish I had a bit more to offer you then a few scraps of artwork, but I've been in such a rut lately. I've had plenty of time; just no energy. As such, I haven't been doing more then squeeking by on my normal comic updates. However, I HAVE managed to get some good artwork done in that time, and I hope I'll get back into doing more here soon. I've also finished with my commission drive to get my husband a computer, and he's currently downstairs enjoy it. Thank you everyone who helped out in that endeavore. Commissions will hopefully start back up towards the end of summer, and with Anime Weekend Atlanta in September, I'll be busy doing quite a bit of new artwork to sell there. So until next time, please enjoy the small update.

Okay, so apperantly I could hardly wait. I went ahead and updated the website, like it's needed for SO DANG LONG. I usually update the layout in March, and here it was May with no changes. As you can tell, not a whole lot has changed, but heck, it needed to be done. And now it is!

As for content updates, I mostly went through and made sure everything was up-to-date. The Store got a major overhaul, and everything should be working smoothly now. I got the issues with the shipping worked out, but if you already ordered during the down time, I will honor whatever shipping you were quoted. I'll be mailing out those orders on Monday, as long as the weather holds.

Well, I managed to survive yet another year of Acen. It was so wonderful to see so many familiar faces, and to have so many people stop by. To all you who stopped by the table, thank you. It's because of people like you that I come back year after year.

One of the great things about Acen was how much I sold. A lot of my discounted artwork went quickly, which made me happy. Now I can get started on replacing the pieces with newer, better images. There's still some stuff left, and I know a lot of people wanted to know about buying online. So everything is now updated and ready for purchase if you're so interested.

I know I haven't updated with any new artwork in awhile, but believe me, I have quite a bit to put up. I just have to find a free moment to do so. Expect another update later this month.

Again, for all of you who stopped by my table, thank you so much. You all were wonderful, and brought a smile to my face (no matter how tired/hungry/sore I was). If it's your frist time visiting here, feel free to browse around, and also check out my web comic Maq #041. And as always, I look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Happy National Stress day. Hope you all got your taxes done on time. I always look forward to today, since it means I'm only 24 hours away from my birthday! That's right: at this time tomorrow, 28 years ago I was forcefully expelled from a my mother's birth canal. Lovely imagery for you, there.

Now, onto the update! For those of you who visited me at Tekko, thank you. Seeing so many people who were happy I was able to make it and had been looking for me specifically really did a lot for my emotional state. I tell ya, by the end of Saturday I was really fighting the urge to cry. You guys made me feel wanted, which did me some good. I will do everything in my power to come back next year. And I will have that new Inuyasha print I was telling a lot of you about.

So in celebration of Tekko, and how great you all are, I'm holding a HUGE sale! Head on over to the Store and take advantage of the reduced prices. So much has been marked down in price, including my posters and t-shirts. So grab them up while you still can. I have only a limited number of each item.

In other news, I know a few of my page regulars are slightly disapointed that I haven't updated the site layout or Maeko's armor yet. I usually do that every March. Well, I haven't forgotten. I've just been a bit busy. I can tell you that not a whole lot will change this year, since I really like how this page looks right now. And Maeko looks pretty awesome herself. So the changes will be minor. First, however, I'm working on giving my comic page a major overhaul. So keep an eye out for that first. Once it's up, then I can focus on this site.

And that's it for now. I'll have a more complete update next month when I get back from Acen. There's going to be a goodly amount of new stuff to view then. Look forward to it!

I'm so very sorry you had to wait so long for an update. Between settleing in the new home and getting really into drawing my comic, I haven't had much opportunity to put together an update. Luckily, since there's been such a span between updates, I've got a lot of goodies to give to you.

Enjoy all the new art!

Well, the move went about as smoothly as it could, and we're more or less settled into our new home here in Florida. The only issue is, this is a brand new condo, so the cable company doesn't have the set-up installed just yet. They said it could take a few weeks, so we'll be without internet for a long while (I'm already haveing withdrawl pains). With any luck, we'll have it up and running before Christmas, but until then, there's always the library on base.

In the mean time, I tried to put together an update for y'all to gander at. I've begun my great quest to update all my stickers, and started with the classic Sailor Moon series, so all the stickers there have brand new designs. Mega Man will follow next, sometime in the next few weeks, but for now, feel free to gather up as many of the older stickers as you want. Currently, they're on sale for $0.25 each. Only the new Sailor Moon stickers should be the usual $1.

So other then that and a few pieces of new art, I'm afraid I don't have much to offer you at this time. Don't worry, as soon as I get internet up and running at the house, I'll have a really large update ready for y'all. Thanks for being so patient with us durring this time! (PS, if there are alot of spelling errors in this post, I appologize. Without internet, I no longer have spell-check. All updates are written in notepad.)

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all have enjoyed your holiday this year! I got to celebrate by getting my very first tattoo yesterday. Yes, I have now been defiled by inking myself. It's relitively small, and located on my left deltoid. Oh, and to those of you thinking about getting one yourself: anyone who tells you it doesn't hurt is FRICKIN' LYING!!! But still, pain, discomfort, and burning aside, it was well worth it. I'll post pictures on the forum later.

In recent news, my husband and I just found out the military is moving us in 3 days, rather then a few weeks. As such, we're scrambling around, trying to get everything ready. Also, we'll be without internet for awhile, since we'll be moved into temp housing for an unknown amount of time before we get our actual house. So next months update might be VERY late, all things depending. That's why I'm rushing to give you something now, before the computer is packed.

Unfortunately, I don't have much to offer, other then some new artwork and fixing up the store area. I discovered that quite a bit of the artwork in the store never got put up in the gallery. So, I went back and corrected that error. I've also added a few new pieces to the prints recently, so if you're looking to buy something for someone for Christmas, here's your chance! Also, as a note, if there's a piece of artwork in my gallery you want as a print, just e-mail me, and I'll be happy to work with you.

So until next month, enjoy what I have, and look towards the Maq #041 comic to resume November 17th, whether we're in temp or permenant housing!

The weekly incentives that I was doing earlier in the year fell through, because I don't think people had enough time to work on them. So I'm turning around and doing two incentives for October. Work on either one, or on both!! Let's all start spamming the MM fandom once more!!

Incentive #1: It's October, the month of scares and candy! Draw your favorite Mega Man characters enjoying the falling leaves, the decorations, and the celebration that is October!

Incentive #2: This time of year is a good time for reflection. As such, let's look at the Mega Man fandom back in it's earlier form. What's missing from it? Why, all those annoying Mary-Su's that we both loved and hated at the same time! Back when the Mega Man storyline had almost nothing to it plot wise, we turned around and filled in the blanks. So here's your chance to re-live that!! Draw or Write your Mary-Su (you KNOW you have one) doing what it does best!

And that's it!! I wanna see you post LOTS of artwork! Put up links here! I know I'm gonna be working on both!

Just a quick art update for y'all! I managed to get a lot done this past week, with most of it being completed today! Enjoy!!

I haven't forgotten about the page, I've just been busy. I had Matsuricon at the end of August, and it went well. I sold out of alot of my stickers, which will no longer be available for purchase. I'm going to be updating all my stickers when the time comes, so they'll all have a fresh look. The Store area reflects these changes now, so whatever stickers are gone will have a 'sold out' on them. All the rest of my products I still have plenty of.

Right now, I've been updating my galleries, putting up old artwork that's been down for a goodly long while. I'm going through old computer folders and finding even more, so with luck, I'll be able to swell the archives even more. I've even come across a few pieces I remember doing, but never posted. Also being done, I re-uploaded the April Fool's joke page, since apperantly alot of people miss having the Fan-Fiction and Fan-Artwork up. I'm noodling with the idea of bringing them back, since they're the most requested items from my old page. We'll have to see.

Wow! What happened, you ask? Well, turns out the javascript that I was oh so proud of wasn't working for everyone. As such, it needed to be changed. So I decided to take a small step backwards, and go back to frames. Yes, I know CSS is supposed to replace it, but I don't care: Frames are nice if used well. As such, the current layout is now here. Everything should be where it's supposed to be, though some of the images in the Artwork section are still down. I got rid of the lightbox effect, since I didn't like not getting to say anything about each piece. Those should go up here soon.

Some other changes are going to be happening soon, so I hope you all will keep an eye on the page! I've been getting back into the hang of my old styles and ways of doing things. I've also got alot of free time. That combination means more goodies for you! So keep checking back for more updates!

July 2nd, 2009

Sorry that took longer then I thought. Things have been a little hectic around here. Anyways, onto a nice little update! I've uploaded all of Chapter 5 into the Comics section, as well as added the few pages from Chapter 6 that I currently have. There's some new Prints, Mario Stickers, and Zelda Stickers available in the store. Also updated my own Personal Info. Lastly, uploaded a few new sketches and original pieces of artwork to the Gallery.

I'm currently working on a little something that'll hopefully bring the page back to it's old luster. With any luck, I'll be able to launch it before the end of the year. Other then that, I don't have much for ya. Hope you enjoy what's here!

Just a verbal update on what's happening. I just got back from Colossalcon, but I have to go home to Columbus for a week to babysit my parent's old dog. So all the con updates will have to go up next week. I'll have a bunch of artwork for y'all!

To all those people who visited my table this past weekend, I hope you all had as much fun as I did, and thanks for all the comments and ideas! I managed to get quite a few good ones! For those of you who wanted some artwork but didn't have the money for it, just head over to the Store. Not everything is up yet, but I'll have it all next week. Most of the stickers, prints, and posters are already up for your buying pleasure.

Hope you all have a wonderful week! I'll see you then!

April 13th, 2009

A very happy Easter to all you who celebrate it. Hope you all got lots of candy!

Well, the April Fool's joke was aparently an even bigger hit then I thought it would be: alot of folks have been asking for it to remain up! So, just for the giggles, here's the site. I must admit, it was one of my favorite layouts of the old site. I've never managed to get a picture for each page after that site, and it made me sad to take it down. So there you all go. Have fun with the site, and if there's any bugs, just let me know.

In other news, I just finished my first two cons for the year (selling-wise anyway). Tekkoshocon in Pittsburgh was a huge hit, and the new location, while downtown, was awesome. So much space. People seemed more willing to buy this year, as apposed to last year when it was cramped and uncomfortable and way out of the way. Anime Punch was also a huge hit, and I FINALLY got to see the Protomen in concert (or at least the first part of it). I feel bad for anyone checking into the hotel though. The concert was held right behind hotel registration, and as the chant "Kill them all" in referance to robots was shouted, I noticed a fairly normal looking person at the desk look somewhat frightened.

So that's about all there is to report. I've got all the recent sellable artwork up, so if there was something you couldn't buy at the con, feel free to pick it up here.

April 5th, 2009

Hope you all liked the April Fools for the site. I had the urge to re-live my old site and give the older fans a chance to look over and snag some of their favorite artwork and fan-fics that have long since dissapeared. But unfortunately, it was time to get back to the normal all so soon.

As I write, I'm sitting in Pittsburgh after two very successful days of selling at Tekkoshocon. Tomorrow (or rather, later today since it's 3am) will be my last day selling there before I rush back to Columbus and geat ready for Anime Punch next weekend. Fun! There's alot of new artwork that was done for the cons, and they will go up just as soon as both are over and I can get back to my desktop at home. I'm afraid my laptop doesn't have all the artwork I wish to update (and it's really getting hot on my lap so I wouldn't want to do much editing anyways).

To all you who visited my table at Tekko, I was so happy to bring joy (and misery) to so many. I know many of you remembered me selling from last year, and with any luck, I'll be returning next year. And with more fun stuff. After how crowded I was on the table, I'll probably have two tables next year.

Make sure to check back later this month for a full update!

February 13th, 2009

Happy Friday the 13th, everybody! To celebrate, I've got a few little things for ya! The Gifts section is gone, and instead, all the gifts are now in their respective years. This cuts down on the number of sections I have to update, and makes things a little bit neater. Also, Maq #041 is now available to download by chapter, as well as page by page. Maq #041's site was revamped today (version 3.0!) so things are a little nicer there. The cafe press store is going up, slowly but surely, and even has the Drunken Sailor Moon available to buy in tee-shirt form! While cafe press is expensive, I figure it's better then nothing until I can find a cheap place to buy these things and sell them myself in bulk. Any suggestions are always welcome.

Other then that, there's not much else going on. I'm trying to encourage the amount of fan-art drawn by offering weekly suggestions on the forums, so check there for more info. Hopefully this means with every update, there'll be more and more artwork to post. So until next time, enjoy the small things!

January 19th, 2009

So alot of tweaking has been done in the last week. Things are FINALLY where I've wanted them to be for the longest time. Still a few things need some work, but for the most part, it's going to be all new updates from here on out! About time too, I'm sure.

Now that I'm all settled into our new apartment and with my wedding in 2 weeks (that's right: the Maq is getting hitched!), things will slow down ALOT in my personal life. So that'll give me more time to dedicate to getting other little things done, like my comics and this site. Very soon, I hope to have a fully-operational Cafe Press store as well. So keep an eye out on the site once more! We're about to get busy again!

As you can see, there's a little bit of a change going on here. Once more, I am revamping (as I do every year) and getting rid of a ton of junk that nobody even cares about. For now, the website is focusing soley on artwork and comics. And that's how it'll most likely remain. I've gone from working at everday joe-jobs to doing comics and conventions full-time, so there'll be alot of artistic updates here in the near future. My hope is to make this page fully functional by the end of this week, but we'll see.

I would really like to get to Colossalcon and Anime USA this year, and if a group will have me, I'd love to attend A-Kon in Texas as a guest again! Sorry west-coasters, but unless someone plans on flying me out on their dime, I probably won't go to any west of Texas this year. But I'll try to update the schedual from time to time, and keep everyone updated.
